Christmas Rush

Thanksgiving behind us, and now the mad rush to get ready for Christmas. I have my decorations up.  I still have to do a little shopping for my 2 grandaughters,  They are 17 and 20, a hard age for this nanny to buy for.  We will give them a check to help with school expenses, but I like to have a couple of gifts under the tree for them to unwrap.

Then the Christmas cooking begins.  For the past several years we have just done a HUGE spread of all our favorite Christmastime snacks, finger foods and nibbles.  Everyone requested the same this year. I really think it is less work to prepare a big sit down meal. LOL !!!

I am anxiously waiting for Anna Griffin's 8th anniversary on HSN.  I love all of her papercrafting supplies. January 10th will be an all day crafting event.  I had better get the credit card ready for overload.  #annaversary  #celebr8annagriffin

Here is a Sweet card made with Anna Griffin papers and  die cuts.

I have lots more cards listed in my Etsy shop.  The button is in the right hand margin.  Just click on it and it will take you there.  I have my Valentine cards for sale already and soon will be adding my Easter and Mother's Day cards.

Have a safe and happy Christmas Season.

Back After A Long Absence

Can't believe it has been 4 and a half years since I last posted on my blog.

To catch you up we finished sprucing up the house and put it on the market and sold  it.  We had found a new home all on one level and with handicap accessibility in a 55+ community. We have been here a little over a year now, and couldn't be happier with our decision to move. We are still in the same small town, so didn't have to make any other changes.

I have cut back on my crafting quite a bit, but still sewing and making quilts and such.  Card making is still one of my passions.  I list a few of my items for sale on Etsy, but have quit going to craft fairs.  The set up and break down got to be to much for me.  Not to mention if the fair was more than one day it was really tiring.

Here are a  few pictures of my Etsy offerings.  Pop over and check out the sale I have going on right now.

I will try not to stay away sooooo long this time.

Have a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.
