You Tube Swap with Scrapdaworld - Loaded Love Swap

Hello Lovely Followers,

Today I wanted to share with you about a swap I am in on You Tube with the talented group of ladies that follow Tmika,  AKA Scrapdaworld.  If you have never watched Tmika's videos you are missing out on a world of creative juices constantly flowing.  Rush right on over and tune in to Scrapdaworld  and just see what you have been missing.  I am sure you will get hooked on watching all the new ideas she has to share with us.

The swap I am in is the Loaded Love Swap.  So excited to be able to participate with all the talented ladies in this group.  The theme of the swap is Love, Valentine, Romance, etc.  We were to make several items and package them in a bag or other form of packaging of our choosing.  The items had to include a tag, Artist Trading Coin, 3x3 enclosure note card with envelope, 2 handmade embellishments and a gift valued at $2.00.  There are 5 members in each of the swap groups, so we were required to make 4 sets of items to share,  and it is customary to also make a set for the hostess of the swap, Tmika.

Here is my completed presentation, I chose to make a paper purse to package all my items in.

Everything individually packaged.

Extras for my swap partners.

Gift of scrapping supplies.

My 3x3 enclosure card with envelope.

My artist trading coin front and back.  We had 4 questions to answer on the back.

 My 2 embellishments.

My gift tag front and back.

I hope all the ladies in my group enjoy the items I made for them.   I certainly had fun creating them.

Try your hand at some of these crafts and surprise someone with a gift of Love handmade from the heart.

Blessing to each of you, Hugs.
Carol

Valentine Tag Swap with Kim

Good Sunday Morning Everyone !!!

I thought I would pop in and share a luscious swap I received from my FB friend Kim.  Kim and I are both in the FB group Country Craft Creations Creative Cafe US Swaps Only.  Kim is a design team member for the sister FB group Scrapbookers of Country Craft Creations.

We decided to do a private swap just between the 2 of us.  The theme was Shabby Chic Romantic and we were to make 4 Valentine tags.  I had seen Kim's work before and knew anything she designed would be absolutely wonderful, and right up my shabby chic alley.

So -----  drum roll    ----  without further adieu  ----

Here are the sweetly packaged items I received.  A cute little shabby linen tote bag with a crotcheted doiley embellishment, Prima flowers tied together with Aqua seam binding ribbon, and a bundle wraped in a generous amount of cream colored lace fabric and tied with more of the seam binding ribbon.

The little tote bag hand some surprises inside.  A beautiful bronze butterfly,  3 resin doves with roses,  and some lovely white lace yardage.

Next I opened the bundle of flowers.  Prima flowers are my favorite, and these will be put to good use in my designs.

Next to open was the bundle of tags.   All of them just as special as I anticipated.

I can't choose which one I like the best,  they are all so lovely.

Thank you Kim for all your work put in to designing these.

If you would like to see more of Kim's designs you can find her on You Tube as Kim Can't Stop Crafting  you will truly be inspired by all of her work.  You can also find her reveal video of the tags I made for her.

Thank you for stopping bye today.  Have a wonderful and Blessed week.

Hugs,
Carol

Princess Mini Album

Hello all my sweet followers,

Today I wanted to share with you a little project I just finished.  I have been home bound the past couple of days with a bad head cold, so I thought I would put my time to good use.  I made this cute little mini album with lots of pockets and tags for small pictures.

The Pattern paper I used if Graphic 45 Princess, and I double matted it on Ivory and Kraft Artisan Cardstock.  All of the papers came from Country Craft Creations.  I used a double bow of Ivory seam binding for the closure.

Have a Happy Day !!!

Hugs,
Carol

Rainey Day Projects

Cold and rainy today in Georgia.  I thought I would work on a few projects in my craft room.  I am low on stash goodies to send out with my swaps and happy mail.  I need a few flowers for embellishment too.

Pulled out my Spellbinders die S4-628, a 5 petal flower with 4 size variations.

I am following Tiffany McGill's technique for stacking petals, misting with water and scrunching.  I used a tiny staple in the middle to hold the petal stack together.  You can find Tiffany's videos on You Tube under, Tiffany Crafting Like A Boss McGill.

I tried 2 different petal stack for my flowers.

I used all 4 sizes of dies and stacked the graduated sizes.  They turned out looking like Gardenias.  I really liked the way they are loose and relaxed.  I probably will add some diamond dust to the edges for just a little shimmer.

Next I stacked the petals 4 high with all the same size die.  They look more like Cottage Roses.  I am going to add some Pink Shimmer Mist to these for a little hint of color and sparkle.

I hope this inspires you to create something of your own.

Best Wishes and Hugs,
Carol
